What it does

The analyzer covers 65 platforms, from a 2JZ Supra to an S58 M3. You pick the car, tap the modifications that are actually on it, set how it gets used and what you are aiming for, and it returns a build score, the weakest subsystem, ranked risks and an upgrade order. Power figures are estimates of crank horsepower, built from what these combinations typically make. They are not a dyno sheet for your car, and the disclaimer on every page says so.

How the score is made

Six subsystems (engine internals, fueling, drivetrain, cooling, brakes and traction) are checked against the estimated output and your stated goal; mismatches become risks, risks cost points, and any critical risk caps the grade no matter what else is on the car. It runs in your browser

There is no account and nothing is uploaded. The build is computed on your device and saved in local storage so a reload does not lose it. If you copy a report link, the build is encoded in the part of the URL that browsers never send to a server, which is why even a shared report never reaches us. The privacy policy covers this in detail.

Who makes it

carbuildcheck is a drivenerve tool, part of the plainforge family of small, single-purpose web tools. The operator record, meaning the legal name, address and VAT number behind the site, is on the imprint page.

How it is funded

The tool is free and carries labelled partner links: under a finished report, on platform pages and in the guide. If you buy through one we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Partner links never influence an analysis. No score, weak link, risk or roadmap step changes because a partner exists, and each partner is named in the privacy policy under "Partner links" before its links go live.
