Stock LPFP is the first fueling wall on E85 blends (bmwtuning.co: ~430 whp on E85; MHD gates its E40/E60 maps behind a pump upgrade).
Budget for index-12 injectors and a walnut blast; both are when-not-if on an N54 (community consensus, see the tuning sources).
04 The typical path
Downpipes and an intake before the flash (bmwtuning.co), then the tune; charge pipe and an LPFP before E85 blends. The rods are far off; the pumps are not.
